Good Stuff Ahead

Just some updates on the latest read that have caught my eye....

Yeah I thought that might get your attention ;)

So I am currently catching up on Sever, the third instalment in The Chemical Garden Trilogy

Written by Lauren DeStefano. This is one of my favourite trilogies....I notice I say that alot, but what can I say...I have good taste in books :p

This is very much a dystopian novel and the storyline had me gripped right from the start. Il give you the blurb for Sever and Ill follow up with a review once I have finished. Im about halfway through and as with all of these books, Im loving it so far...Rhine is getting closer to finding her twin bother but as always obstacles have cascaded into her path....

With the clock ticking until the virus takes its toll, Rhine is desperate for answers. After enduring Vaughn’s worst, Rhine finds an unlikely ally in his brother, an eccentric inventor named Reed. She takes refuge in his dilapidated house, though the people she left behind refuse to stay in the past. While Gabriel haunts Rhine’s memories, Cecily is determined to be at Rhine’s side, even if Linden’s feelings are still caught between them.

Meanwhile, Rowan’s growing involvement in an underground resistance compels Rhine to reach him before he does something that cannot be undone. But what she discovers along the way has alarming implications for her future—and about the past her parents never had the chance to explain.

In this breathtaking conclusion to Lauren DeStefano’s Chemical Garden trilogy, everything Rhine knows to be true will be irrevocably shattered

Always on the lookout.....

Im never one to take a break from a book so Ive been scoping out my next read and heres some samples that I have to sink my teeth into ....
