Leo was the cocky and assertive man that Sam needed even though she was too stubborn to see it at first

As family and friends slowly bring them together...they both realize and feel the attention every time they are close by... will they both face their issues and let the heart talk... 

Its a ride of trust, honesty and passion of finding someone special to share the ugly past and moving forward to a bright warmer future with each others hearts in hand. 

There is a lots hot steamy actions in this book also sweet like candy moment....this book has everything! The sweetest, hottest, adorable, witty, charming, cutest and bad ass story ever...so going to read the rest in the Seattle series...need more hot stuff after this....

*Fans face* Phew, where to begin?!

What. a. read. I was lent this book by my fellow Rambler, and boy am I grateful....it wasn't so long ago I was "who is Kellan Kyle?" . . . Well boy do I know now and he's not one I will be forgetting...I'm literally diving straight into book 2, Effortless.

This was one of those books that kept me up through the night, even though I knew I should go to sleep! Then when I got 2 chapters to the end, I decided to put it down and try to ignore it because I didn't want it to end!

Kiera, Kiera, Kiera, tut tut tut . . . . (don't play innocent, I know none of you could say no to Kellan).

So we have a typical love triangle, albeit an unexpected one, unexpected for them anyhow. Now, before you deny it, everyone loves abit of an angsty love triangle . . . 'Oh, who to choose?!' the dilemma of which extremely hot guy (both totally smitten with you) to go with, ah such a chore! Plane Jane strikes again with two super model worthy guys lusting after her. Come on, give us a break. What about us?!

In case you cant tell, Im not a huge fan of Kiera's. Lets start with the fact that, after having moved halfway across the country to be with her boyfriend of 2 years, whom she loves dearly, she throws it away at the drop of Kellan's pants (I know he's hot) is this an excuse for infidelity?

Clearly struggling to be alone while her boyfriend is off earning a living for the both of them for a few weeks to a month. We read as she mopes about the house yearning for attention and is only all to happy to jump into Kellans arms when he offers her some comfort. She struck me as abit of a self-centered tool "oh Im alone, Denny has left me" How dare he go earn a living. Its a little bit needy.

After a phone-call to Denny, where he tells her he will be staying out of town for at least a year, its best to say that Keira is not happy about this. OK, OK, I am slightly understanding of her here, she just moved across the country for this dude and now he's off again, she is unwilling to follow her man this time. Why? we ask . . . could it be . . .No surely she doesn't fancy the hot rock singer whom she has been getting cuddly with whilst her boyfriend has been away.

It doesn't take much to push her into Kellans arms.

This is where the story picks up, feelings begin emerging and the steamy flirtation between Kellan and Kiera starts pulling the reader in deep. We don't want to condone an affair but with a chemistry so hot, heavy and natural, we feel its wrong for them not to be together . . . The book has me feeling guilty . . . Surely we aren't rooting for this girl to cheat on her boyfriend?

Things start getting complicated, naturally, and feelings start emerging. Dragging us deeper into the tangle of lust and passion . . .

The descriptive tones of Kellan's beauty are enough to get your heart racing. When his back-story emerges, we begin to see a softer side to him, we want him to have love.

That love happens to lie in Kiera . . .

I found myself rooting for Kellan all along, and I don't mean 'Yeah, that's right Kel, steal that's dudes girlfriend, whoo yeah' but I did want him to have a happy ending. Denny really doesn't play a huge part in winning us over, he seems to always be working and doting on Kiera, in between shifts, so it makes it easy for us to fall for Kellan. We feel slightly neglected for Kiera.

Ah, the coffee stand scene . . . Gee whizz! This tugged at my heartstrings, whilst shouting at Kiera to do the right thing . . . then BAM . . .Well, lets just say, coffee holds a new meaning now.

"Me or him, Kiera?" thoughtless I blurt out "him".  My breath literally halted when she said that, How could you Kiera?!

This book has a lot of tender moments that had me welling up or tugging on my heart strings . . . Poor little heart of mine.

"You don't have to wear it, I'll understand. I just wanted you to have something to remember me by. I didn't want you to forget me. I'll never forget you"

WAHHHH!

It tests you. Right and wrong. Head or heart. Safety or passion.

I found it slightly predictable, after everything it puts you through, it cant end badly for them, so of course Denny will go back to Australia, where our naughty little love birds can get their happy ending . . . Don't get me wrong, Im pleased about this . . . That's what this book does to you . . . Im a bad person now cos I rooted for them but they are in love so who cares, right?

My Ramblings..

This is my second time reading Sylvia's best-seller and I'm falling in love with it all over again. Its taken me a long time to get this post up but I just figured one more rate amongst the 124023 already out there (and thats just on Goodreads) won't make any difference.

I'm sure most of you will have already read this book and the follow-up Reflected in You...and if you haven't, WHATS WRONG WITH YOU?! get on it now because book 3 Entwined with You, is released in just 23 short days...YESSS!!

Now, amongst the Fifty madness, this book came riding through the storm announcing 'If you liked Fifty Shades of Grey then you'll love this' but really this book won over for me, no questions asked.

Am I right? Or am I right?

So, second time reading (I know right, why not more?!) and this time, I see Gideon as a big softy, well he is really isn't he, if you look beneath the sexually-frustrated-for-Eva front. The majority of the book is Gideon chasing after Eva, which alone is a whole new experience for him (women do the chasing for Gideon ) “Because I want to fuck you, Eva. I need to know what’s standing in my way, if anything.” and when he has finally beds her, he is trying, extremely hard, to have a nice 'normal no-strings-attached' relationship with her.“You forget who submits, Eva,” he said gruffly. “I've given up control for you. I've bent and adjusted for you. I’ll do anything to keep you and make you happy. But I can't be tamed or topped. Don't mistake indulgence for weakness.”  Again right out of his comfort zone.

As much as I love Eva, she is deeply troubled (rightly so) with her past and this is a huge obstacle for her. She cant be happy with Gideon because she feels like her past will let Gideon down. When the truth comes out, what damage is it going to cause?

So later on, when we find that Gideon has some closely guarded secrets of his own, we see just how good they can be for each other.....only nothing ever comes that easy when so much baggage is trying to pull you apart.

Earlier I said I preferred this to Fifty....(I'm not ashamed) whilst Fifty was addictive, I just think that Gideon and Eva have so much depth.....literally layers and layers of the stuff! So much so that the drama continues right through to book 2 and I'm certain book 3 wont let us down in that department either. Its not just the raunchy pair that I love, the other characters are painted in such depth too. Unlike most books, the story reveals a lot about the 2nd hand characters too, like Cary, Eva's best friend, who also wears scars from his past. He is so loving and protective of Eva due to the history they share with each other. Whereas Magdalene literally had me breathing fire at points (I swear ;)). So yeah they are quite f****D up! But I love it nonetheless. It makes for a great read.

The term "roller-coaster ride" its overused I feel but this book literally sucks you in, chews you up, gives you a little hug, chews you up again, spits you out, all the while spinning you round and round!! Its such an emotionally charged book and it left me reeling at some points. This is what makes a good book though, when you can feel yourself lost in the characters minds, thats when you know your onto a winner. When you come away stuck with them in your head and they won't go away.

I'm actually struggling  to sum this book up in 3 words but compelling, sexually-charged and downright addictive are just a few that spring to mind. The men in your life will thank-you afterwards ;)...

Hard life of a book worm

Time.....

The only thing that stands between me and a really good book....

You'll read through the night just to finish that one chapter....then the next...and the next...and just one more...

You get lost in a book and have that weird feeling something major may have just happened.....'So its ok for me to get rid of all your shoes so I can have more space for my gadgets love....love....HELLO'....

'Hmm....sure..'

Its why I find myself reading 2 books right now.....its a hard life for a book worm....

So many books...so little time....I suppose its why we have 2 arms right?..

Ramblings

AMAZING! Thats the best word to describe The Chemical Garden Trilogy. I came away from the series feeling fulfilled and satisfied that I had read it. After having read Wither, I was engrossed right away, I knew I would continue with the story so on I went to Fever, book number 2 and I swear it got better, so here we are at number 3.

It was quite a gap between reading 2 and 3, I admit so I felt a little lost picking up Sever. The story continues where it left off and it wasn't long before I was right back into the story. It flows right through 1-3. 

So of course, Rhine has escaped Madames Circus, only she lost Gabriel along the way. So this story sees her not only trying to reunite with her brother but Gabriel also. Escaping was one thing but now she has found herself back under the control of Vaughn....possibly the worst case scenario. This takes an unusual turn, we see Rhine form a real relationship with Linden and Cecily, they become a family of sorts. In Wither, we were never meant to grown attached to Linden. He and his father took Rhine from the only life she had with her brother! But we start to see him as a puppet to his fathers mad ideas and this makes us appreciate him and the love that he truly does grow to feel for our Rhine.

I have loved Rhine throughout, she is a true survivor and I love how we see the world through her eyes. She knows there is nothing more to life than what she has grown up with and that quite possibly there really is no other life outside of city but she still has hope and she never gives up finding her brother. 

The characters really are intriguing and they have so much depth that its hard to dislike anyone....that is except for Vaughn of course. The master puppeteer, the highly recognised Doctor. We know him as a demon who picks people apart in his basement with his twisted and tainted ideas of finding a cure. In Sever we really see him as nothing more than a father, desperate to cure his only surviving son. Only this love blinds him and sullies his actions.

There are some unexpected turns towards the end. There was really not one second where I thought I knew where the story was heading. It was unpredictable and I loved every second of it.

Unlike anything else I have read. Exceptional story telling. Compelling, enthralling. A book that teaches us even in despair, there is hope.

Now go read this series!

Every instinct is telling her to run, so she does, but Jesse Ward is not so willing to let her go. He wants her and is determined to have her. She knows she is heading for heartbreak, but how can she run when he won’t let her?

The Lord

If this image alone isnt enough to get you to read This Man, then I dont know what is....but I'll have a good go at convincing you anyway...

I read this book a few months ago and I constantly found myself dabbing sweat from my head whilst reading this aha...its hot stuff to say the least. 

'The Lord' Jesse Ward, our typical controlling, domineering raging ball of hot stuff, with a dark secret, who finds himself falling for the stubborn and naive Ava O'Shea. This book throws you in all directions. Whilst Jesse wears a big Warning sign on his head, we cant help falling for him. 

You may find yourselves feeling differently about him, he can be seen as scary and abit crazy, but isnt that always a fatal attraction in books like this? Jesse is definitely a hard one to handle and I say kudos to Ava for at least trying to show him who is really the boss...

I love the guessing game of his age that follows throughout book 1 and 2, it just goes to show that love really doesnt have an age on it. Its nice to go through the story with Ava, unaware of the secret he is harboring and the fact that, HELLO, we dont even know how old the guy is! Its good to be kept in the dark in this instance. We are able to see the relationship grow without any labels on it.

I did enjoy this and if your looking for a book to fill the void after having read other books such as...yes Fifty and Bared to You, then this is definitely the book for you!

“Just tell me one thing before you leave, Ava.” His voice prickles at my senses… His face is serious, but still stunning. “How loud do you think you’ll scream when I fuck you?” 

“I want to look after you forever.” He whispers, pressing his lips against my temple.” 

“I am confident, because you said yes. Or was it....." He looks up to the ceiling in deep thought and then back at me. "Oh, I remember. It was...yes, yes, yes, fucking hell, yes!” 

“God!” I scream.

“No, baby, that’s me”
